Sixties counter culture

Wes Wilson.

Born in 1937, Wes Wilson is an icon in the world of psychedelic posters. He was heavily inspired by art nouveau, as I've shown below. He also liked to make the writing on his posters barely legible so that people would have to stop and pay attention to them to understand what they meant. This, alongside his contrasting colour palettes, was part of Wilsons great marketing techniques.
